Salamander Cottage is great for groups and families. Made ready for your arrival with linen and towels,the bedrooms are separately located giving privacy and space. The large bathroom has a separate bath & shower, toilet [one of 2], and hand basin.

Facilities: well equipped kitchen [microwave and dishwasher], ceiling fans, entertainment facilities, full laundry and outdoor line, double lock up garage for storing small boat, canoes,boards, and car or 2 cars, or  use as a playroom [table tennis].

Leave the car – you can walk for miles along the foreshores, take in the stunning views, and birdlife. The house is a short level walk to the bay-side Georges Reserve beach and playground via pedestrian access walkway. This water front park has bay views through to the Port Stephens Heads – Tomaree and Yacaaba.  Fish, snorkel, canoe or boat locally, take a picnic and relax. Surf beaches are only 10 minutes away as is the Nelson Bay Marina and Shopping Centre.

Shops, cafes, Salamander Shores Hotel [bottle shop/bar/dining], restaurants, a local club are all within 5 to 10 minutes walks. Several boat ramps are a few minutes by car as is the Horizon's Golf Course, and other golf courses in Nelson Bay.
